Matteson Public Library has two book discussion groups.

The first one, The Monday Morning Meet -Up Club, meets on the fourth Monday of the month, September to May, at 10:15 a.m. The foolowing books are scheduled:
January 28th –  Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe
February 25th – Room by Emma Donoghue
March 25 – Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
April 22 – The Sandcastle Girls  by Chris Bohjalian
May 20 – (3rd Monday)  Molokai  by Alan Brennert
These books are available at the library’s Circulation Desk at least three weeks in advance.

The Afrocentric Book Discussion Group meets on the following dates.

January 16, 2013 – Casanegra: A Tennyson Hardwick Story by Blair Underwood
February 20, 2013 – To Be Determined
March 20, 2013 – All I Did Was Shoot My Man by Walter Mosley
April 17, 2013 - Who Fears Death, A Novel by Nnedi Okorafor
May 15, 2013 – Black Misery by Langston Huges

Books are available at the Circulation Desk three weeks before discussion date.
