WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 1:00 PM TO 3:00 PM AND EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY - 2 HOUR SHIFTS

 

SALARY:  $8.25 PER HOUR 

QUALIFICATIONS:  MUST BE 16 OR OVER

MUST HAVE ABILITY TO FOLLOW NUMERICAL AND ALPHABETICAL SYSTEM FOR ARRANGING BOOKS.

 

DUTIES:  SHELVING ALL LIBRARY MATERIALS AND BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR NEAT AND ORDERLY APPEARANCE OF THE LIBRARY.

Job Title:  Marketing/Adult Programming Assistant

FT/PT:  Part Time

Hours: 12-15 hours per week

Salary: $11 hour

Position Description: 

The Matteson Public Library is looking for an experienced, creative, and self-motivated person with graphic design and marketing skills to join our Adult Services Department.

Primary responsibilities include designing and producing print media that promotes Adult Programs, creating library signage and displays, email marketing and coordinating with Adult Programmer and Head of Adult Services.  The position requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and ability to work with a team.

Candidate must have at least an Associate’s degree in graphic arts and/or marketing and must present samples of graphic design work.  Experience in a library setting would be a plus.
