How to Request an Item When...

How to Request an item when it is on shelf at Matteson Public Library:

If you see an item that is "On Shelf" at the Matteson Public Library,

and you are outside the library give us a call at (708) 748-4431 (ext. 12 for Adult books and ext. 13 for children and teen books) and have us put it aside for you. Give us an hour, and then you can pick your item(s) up at the Circulation Desk.  The item(s) will be held there for three days.
If you are in the library, write down the call number and look for the item in the library by its call number.
