ChiltonLibrary provides exclusive photographs, diagnostics designed by instructors, step-by-step repair procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance schedules, wiring diagrams, recalls and Technical Service Bulletins.

EBSCOhost-MasterFILE Select Full Text - This database provides abstracts and indexing for more than 2,700 periodicals, plus full text for more than 750 titles. Subjects covered include general reference, business, health, multi-cultural and more. Full text back files go as far back as January of 1990, while indexing and abstract back files go as far back as January of 1984.

EBSCOhost - Literary Reference Center "is a comprehensive database that provides users with a broad spectrum of information on thousands of authors and their works across literary disciplines and timeframes."

Gale Virtual Reference Library - is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.

Heritage Quest  - provides libraries with a unique collection of research materials for tracing family history and American culture.

I-SHARE is a resource sharing system for the 56 ILCSO Libraries. 

Learning Express Library - LearningExpressLibrary provides a completely interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial courses series designed to help patrons, students, and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass.  You'll get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized analysis of your results.

In order to use the LearningExpressLibrary from home, Matteson Public Library patrons must first register from a computer in the library as a "new user" at www.LearningExpressLibrary.com.   Register using your Matteson library card number as your username, and create a password of your choice.  Then you can access LearningExpressLibrary from home.   See Reference Desk for assistance.

Science Resource Center  contains thousands of topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and illustrations.  The latest scientific developments are covered in articles from over 200 magazines and academic journals and links to quality web sites. The database covers curriculum-related science topics and offers teachers an easy-to-use tool to identify content directly correlated to state and national standards.

SILC - The Statewide Illinois Library Catalog, known as SILC, is Illinois' first all inclusive statewide union catalog that integrates WorldCat and the Illinois Library Systems' local  OPACs, to provide both shelf status and interlibrary loan capabilities in a single searchable interface.

SIRS (Social Issues Resources Series) - a reference tool that contains full-text articles on a wide variety of science, social science and world affairs topics; capsules of major news events tied to a timeline; and background information for more than 1,100 publications.

Teen Health & Wellness - provides students with comprehensive curricular support and self-help tools on topics including diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, fitness, mental health, diversity, family life, and more.

Thompson Legal Forms Online - Provides a wide selection of state-specific (and multi-state) legal forms across the most popular legal areas. Includes real estate contracts, wills, pre-marital agreements, bankruptcy, divorce, landlord tenant and many others. Also included is a comprehensive attorney state directory and a dictionary of legal definitions explained in laymen's language.
