Help! My Child Has to do a Science Fair Project!
Occurs: Wednesday September 22nd, 2010

Age Group: For adult/child pairs who are preparing for a science fair project. Not open to children or teens without an adult.
Description:

Learn how to use the library's resources to help with your child's science project.  We will go over the entire process, from choossing a manageable topic and esdperiment, doing the research, and how to create text boxes and graphs for your board.  Take-home materials will guide you after class.

Meet Skippyjon Jones

Hear the story "Skippyjon Jones" and then meet the kitty himself form the popular picture book series by Judy Schrachner

We'll also demonstrate "Bookflix", our new online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks with related nonfiction eBooks to build a love of reading and learning in young children.

Our young patrons are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and dance along to some great music!  Games, prizes, and bubbles will also be fatured.  Children older than 36 months will only be allowed to attend if accompanied by a younger sibling.
